Chambery Inn

Our stay at the Chamberry Inn was absolutely perfect. The room was cozy and comfortable as always ( this was our 4th trip) The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning. Thank you again Bob xoxox

This was our second time staying at the Chambery Inn. There is not a bad word to be said about this place. It is obvious how much care the owners put into the comfort of their guests. It’s the smallest details that really make you feel the warmth. First, the day of check-in, I got a text message a few hours before we were supposed to be able to check in stating our room was available early. It’s certainly not expected but very much appreciated that they would offer early check-in even if it’s not requested. There was a welcome bag and fresh baked cookies on check-in. The owners have lots of historic photographs and information around the Inn for your viewing. Being an old school house transformed into an Inn, it’s very interesting. Each morning, a beautiful breakfast basket with fresh baked goodies and a newspaper was delivered right to our door. It’s a nice relaxing way to start the day to enjoy breakfast by the fireplace in your room. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, romantic, and cozy. Local magazines and brochures were laid out for us as well. The bathroom was equipped with a towel warmer and a whirlpool bathtub. The beds were so comfortable we could have relaxed in them all day. We will definitely be back for more amazing experiences provided by Bob and Olia. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I enjoy looking for small town inns across the northeast. For Christmas she purchased me a gift certificate for the Chambery Inn. With several members in our family with serious health issues we figured this past week was the perfect time for a quick get away for some R and R ! What a fantastic experience. Our room was ready early and the owners communicated with us throughout the hours leading up to our arrival. Key and welcome bag were left for us at the front desk. There was only one other room rented and that was on the lowest level so we really had the entire place to ourselves. So QUIET and PEACEFUL with some snow showers making it even more relaxing. Our room was large and comfortable complete with mini-fridge, large screen TV, Alexa alarm clock etc. A nice breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. My wife recently retired after a 41 year teaching career and I spent 3/4 of my school years attending old school buildings like this so it bought back great memories. Loved the separate "boy's " and "girl's" stairways that I recall from my school days in the 60's and early 70's. The room includes plenty of chalk and chalkboards to leave your mark! LOVED our stay here. If you grew up in an era that featured old school buildings I am sure you will love it also. This place is a TEN !!!

I'd have no reservations saying a solid 10. I wouldn't have a clue as far as what could have been any better. The suites were very spacious, clean, well supplied, and nicely appointed. Also the cookies were delicious! Id not hesitate to recommend this inn to anyone, or to stay anywhere else if I found myself in the area. The hosts were both so incredibly nice, and accommodating.

We loved our stay at the Chambery Inn! We spent two nights there to celebrate after our wedding. It was such a cozy space. We loved the tub, fireplace and the option to have a couples massage in the room! We were able to walk to restaurants and just had a great time!

Our stay was perfect and relaxing! Bob was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was amazing, cozy, and relaxing. We can’t wait to stay again and would highly recommend staying here to our friends and family. The lounging chairs in front of the fireplace were the perfect place to slow down and unwind. The breakfast room service was delicious. The hot tub was very clean, spacious, and easy to operate. We can’t wait to stay another night!

We visited for a romantic couples getaway in January. The inn is a restored school house, and you can see a lot of love and care went into the restoration and upkeep of the place. Our room had a blackboard along one side, where guests wrote their names, and there was a fireplace that kept the room perfectly warm. Every last detail was well thought out and the room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The bed frame was a little creaky but the bed was comfortable and I slept like a rock. The only negatives were the shower water pressure was lacking, and the toilet paper holder was in an awkward location forcing you to twist backward. We opted in to the in-room 1.5 hour couples massage… a bit $$$ but worth every penny… Marcie was my masseuse and i don’t know what kind of magic she practiced, but this was by far the best massage i have ever had (and i’ve had quite a few). i have never felt so relaxed after a massage, with no soreness after… she somehow undid several years of pent up stress in my shoulders and neck that no other masseuse has been able to do. cannot recommend enough. The breakfast in the morning was delivered in a big basket and we ate breakfast in bed. Check-in and checkout were a breeze. The town is a little sleepy in the winter, but that’s what we were looking for and we will definitely return in the future!

We had a great mother-daughter weekend. The Chambery Inn was a welcoming space to return to after a day of visiting museums and shopping. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast baskets were amazing. There is shopping and restaurants within walking distance and many cute towns to visit nearby.
